How MBAs Can Integrate Business Mind and Social Heart To Do Good

As I celebrate my 46th birthday today, I published this article in FastCompany as a heartfelt message to my younger self — the 29-year-old Navi who in 1999, having just arrived in the US, had a nervous breakdown as he realized he had sold his soul to the devil by getting into an MBA program. I want to reassure him — and all MBA grads/students — that with a business degree you can be a great force for good in the world.

Writing this article was very cathartic and healing for me.

I hope this article will inspire MBAs to become change-makers.
